Chitra Hosing, M.D. University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center

Dr. Hosing is Associate Professor of Medicine in the Stem Cell Transplantation Department at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is also the Medical director of the Apheresis Unit. She received her M.B.,B.S. in 1984 from Lady Hardinge Medical School in New Delhi, India. She completed her fellowship in Hematology and Oncology from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and her Bone Marrow Transplant fellowship from MD Anderson Cancer Center in 1999.

Her clinical research focuses on autologous and allogeneic transplantation for non-Hodgkin's lymphomas, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and autoimmune disorders.

Dr. Hosing is a member of the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation, and the American Society for Apheresis.
